About the Work
Trip Number is a series of surreal and intimate, hand-drawn ink illustrations developed over seven years. The drawings emerged from stillness and exploration, through intuitive compositions shaped by trauma, curiosity, psychedelic experience, and decades of visual thinking. Each piece is created in a focused moment of presence, often accompanied by short phrases or poetic fragments.
Themes include dimension hopping, whimsical characters, visual rhythm, humor, repetition and invitations to ponder reality. The recurring use of dots connects to Dill’s retinal injuries in 2013 and 2019. This raw showing reveals a heartfelt and meditative practice to the public eye.
