About The Event
JOJO ABOT presents Re.Member, the latest chapter in her expansive body of work, A GOD OF HER OWN MAKING. This site-specific presentation of mesmerizing visuals invokes a state of profound belonging, guiding us in rediscovering what has been lost, taken, or forgotten, and fostering a conscious journey of self-discovery and evolution.
Immersive visuals are complemented by hanging silks and live performance by the artist, bringing to life the fierce and fearless god within. In a world dominated by rigid masculinity and reluctance to embrace harmonious change, we are invited to tap into and amplify the divine feminine expressed through the inherent love within ourselves, each other, and the universe. In communion with spirit and community we overcome hate and inspire unity towards collective liberation.
This work is presented in collaboration with the release of Re.Member EP—a spiritual call to gather, reclaim, and reconnect.
