About The Event
Xposed on the Highline presents “LOOP” - a satirical performance addressing the ever-growing obsession with human performance. Through a set of large windows we see a couple sitting at a dinner table across from each other. The hyper focus with which they consume information on their gadgets and the rapid pace of their multitasking amuses the viewer, while dinner consists of raw vegetables and smoothies. Large bottles of supplements with names like SMART, FAST, STRONG sit next to them. In the background a large wall projection rotating overblown closeups of their details. The surprise element is the ending of the performance that symbolizes the awakening from the digital age.
