About The Event
"Americano" is an immersive art gallery installation presented at XPOSED on the Highline in New York City, running from May 10th to 31st. The exhibition features nine intricate artworks that visually accompany Baby Yors' second album, exploring themes of migration, capitalism, cultural differences, and the essence of America. These pieces, photographed almost a year ago by Thom Kerr featuring complex sets that were later on digitally altered, challenge viewers to discern reality from simulation while engaging with the complexities of the American dream.
Bios:
Baby Yors, an artist and musician renowned for his eclectic performances and musical prowess, explores themes of migration, culture difference, and American life in his latest album, AMERICANO. Produced alongside the late Bram Inscore, the album reflects Baby Yors' experiences as an immigrant, weaving Latin rhythms with catchy pop and rock influences.
